Why would I need a dummy file?

What is the difference between blank and random contents?
A blank file is filled with zero bytes, so it compresses down to almost nothing in a ZIP. Random contents do not compress, which is better when you want the file to stay its full size after archiving or transfer.
How large a file can I make?
Large files are built in your browser, so the practical ceiling is your device memory and the browser. Smaller sizes are instant; very large files take a moment and use more memory while they are created.
